To celebrate the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival and strengthen the connections among board members, the Enping Association Board of Directors held a Lantern Festival gathering on 2026 March 3 at 1:00 PM at Luna Private Banquets in Markham.
During the event, board members came together to share fellowship and celebrate the festive occasion in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The Lantern Festival symbolizes reunion, harmony, and good fortune, reflecting the deep cultural traditions and values of the Chinese community. This gathering provided an opportunity for members to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and further enhance the unity of the association.
The Enping Association has always been committed to bringing together people from Enping living in Canada, promoting Chinese cultural heritage, and encouraging collaboration and mutual support within the community. Through events like this, the association continues to foster stronger ties among members while contributing positively to the local community.
We sincerely thank all board members for their continued support and participation in the Enping Association. We look forward to working together in the future to further strengthen our community and serve fellow members.
The Enping Fellowship Association of Toronto is a non-profit community organization voluntarily established in 1985 by Enping natives residing in Canada. The Association is dedicated to uniting fellow townspeople from Enping, preserving our hometown heritage, fostering communication and mutual support, assisting newcomers in their integration, and building a warm, harmonious, and connected community platform.
Guided by the principles of “strengthening hometown ties, mutual support and inclusion, cultural preservation, and community service,” the Association has long organized a wide range of cultural, social, and community activities. These include Lunar New Year celebrations, Mid-Autumn gatherings, senior appreciation events, youth engagement programs, mutual assistance initiatives, and community service projects. Through these efforts, we aim to enrich members’ lives and strengthen their sense of belonging.
Beyond serving as a bridge to our shared heritage, the Association also plays an important role in supporting newcomers as they integrate into Canadian society. By providing information sharing, resource connections, and a supportive network, we help new arrivals adapt more smoothly, build social connections, and pursue personal and professional development.
At the same time, the Enping Fellowship Association of Toronto actively collaborates with local communities, government agencies, and other Chinese organizations to promote cultural exchange between China and Canada, while enhancing the visibility and positive presence of Enping natives within Canadian society.
Whether you are new to Toronto or have called this city home for many years, we sincerely welcome you to join us. Let us move forward together, carry forward the spirit of Enping, and build a warm and supportive community.
