Enping Association Board Members Celebrate the Lantern Festival Gathering

2026

To celebrate the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival and strengthen the connections among board members, the Enping Association Board of Directors held a Lantern Festival gathering on 2026 March 3 at 1:00 PM at Luna Private Banquets in Markham.

During the event, board members came together to share fellowship and celebrate the festive occasion in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The Lantern Festival symbolizes reunion, harmony, and good fortune, reflecting the deep cultural traditions and values of the Chinese community. This gathering provided an opportunity for members to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and further enhance the unity of the association.

The Enping Association has always been committed to bringing together people from Enping living in Canada, promoting Chinese cultural heritage, and encouraging collaboration and mutual support within the community. Through events like this, the association continues to foster stronger ties among members while contributing positively to the local community.

We sincerely thank all board members for their continued support and participation in the Enping Association. We look forward to working together in the future to further strengthen our community and serve fellow members.

New Year Message

Written at the Beginning of 2026

Enping Fellowship Society of Toronto
President Joe Cen and Members of the Board of Directors

As the seasons turn, 2026 arrives as expected. On this occasion of the New Year, we extend our sincere greetings and best wishes to all Enping fellow townspeople and friends who have long supported our Association.

Looking back on 2025, it was a year of steady progress and continued growth for our Association.

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary Gala and hosted a Christmas gathering, allowing fellow townspeople to share in the warmth and joy of festive traditions even while living abroad. We remained committed to supporting the younger generation by establishing a scholarship program and organizing a “Second-Generation Overseas Chinese” summer camp, building a bridge between heritage and the future. We have been preparing for a Charity Night event, encouraging our volunteer dance and choir groups to participate in community cultural activities and further strengthen connections among members. We also organized online seminars on healthcare basics, career development, and academic planning to respond to the practical needs of our community.

In addition, the Association’s official website has now been launched and is officially online.

Every step forward has relied on the dedication and collaboration of our Board members, as well as the participation and support of our fellow townspeople. It is through these consistent and genuine efforts that our Association continues to remain vibrant and meaningful.

Looking ahead to 2026, we will continue to strengthen our organizational development, enhance service quality, and expand platforms for connection and collaboration. Our goal is to ensure that the Association remains a stable, open, and trusted network linking fellow townspeople together.

About Us

The Enping Fellowship Society of Toronto is a non-profit community organization established voluntarily by Enping natives residing in Canada. Bound together by our shared hometown heritage, we are committed to building an open, mutually supportive, and sustainable community platform—one that connects Enping people living abroad, fosters mutual support, and encourages active engagement within the broader local society.

Since its founding, the Association has continuously organized a wide range of social and cultural initiatives, including anniversary celebrations, holiday gatherings, charity fundraising events, and community partnership projects. These activities provide opportunities for connection and interaction among fellow townspeople, while also fostering continuity and cultural transmission across generations. We place strong emphasis on youth development and family well-being through scholarship programs, youth activities, and cultural experience initiatives for second-generation overseas Chinese, helping younger generations better understand their heritage and cultural roots.

In the area of community service, we organize practical seminars on healthcare awareness, career development, and academic planning to address the real-life needs of our members. At the same time, we actively collaborate with local community organizations, participate in charitable initiatives, and promote cultural exchange, contributing to greater mutual understanding and interaction within a multicultural society.

We believe that a meaningful and vibrant community is built through genuine participation and sustained commitment. Whether you are a newcomer, a local professional, or simply someone who cares about community development, we welcome your involvement. Together, through cooperation and mutual support, we strive to build a warmer, stronger, and more connected community network.
