Enping Association Board Members Celebrate the Lantern Festival Gathering

2026

To celebrate the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival and strengthen the connections among board members, the Enping Association Board of Directors held a Lantern Festival gathering on 2026 March 3 at 1:00 PM at Luna Private Banquets in Markham.

During the event, board members came together to share fellowship and celebrate the festive occasion in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The Lantern Festival symbolizes reunion, harmony, and good fortune, reflecting the deep cultural traditions and values of the Chinese community. This gathering provided an opportunity for members to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and further enhance the unity of the association.

The Enping Association has always been committed to bringing together people from Enping living in Canada, promoting Chinese cultural heritage, and encouraging collaboration and mutual support within the community. Through events like this, the association continues to foster stronger ties among members while contributing positively to the local community.

We sincerely thank all board members for their continued support and participation in the Enping Association. We look forward to working together in the future to further strengthen our community and serve fellow members.

Lunar New Year Greeting Video

On February 1, 2026, members of the Board of Directors of the Enping Fellowship Association of Toronto gathered to film a Lunar New Year greeting video, which was broadcast on Enping Television to extend festive wishes to our fellow townspeople back home.

Though we live overseas, our hearts remain connected to our homeland. No matter how far we travel, Enping will always be our shared root and enduring bond. Through this New Year greeting video, Enping natives residing in Canada send our sincere regards to the people of our hometown and extend our heartfelt wishes for the continued prosperity and development of our motherland.

In front of the camera, members dressed in traditional Lunar New Year attire extended festive greetings to audiences in Enping and across the nation. We wish our hometown favorable weather, economic prosperity, and social harmony; we wish our motherland peace, stability, and continued flourishing; and we wish Chinese communities both at home and abroad unity, success in their endeavors, and happiness for their families.

Although overseas Chinese live far from their homeland, we always take pride in our roots. We cherish Chinese culture, actively integrate into local society, and strive to serve as a bridge connecting our hometown with the wider world. No matter where we are, our affection for our hometown and our blessings for our country remain unchanged.

On this Lunar New Year, all Board members and fellow townspeople of the Enping Fellowship Association of Toronto extend our heartfelt New Year greetings to the people of Enping. May the year ahead bring smooth progress in all things and abundant blessings to all.
