Enping Association Board Members Celebrate the Lantern Festival Gathering

2026

To celebrate the traditional Chinese Lantern Festival and strengthen the connections among board members, the Enping Association Board of Directors held a Lantern Festival gathering on 2026 March 3 at 1:00 PM at Luna Private Banquets in Markham.

During the event, board members came together to share fellowship and celebrate the festive occasion in a warm and joyful atmosphere. The Lantern Festival symbolizes reunion, harmony, and good fortune, reflecting the deep cultural traditions and values of the Chinese community. This gathering provided an opportunity for members to reconnect, strengthen friendships, and further enhance the unity of the association.

The Enping Association has always been committed to bringing together people from Enping living in Canada, promoting Chinese cultural heritage, and encouraging collaboration and mutual support within the community. Through events like this, the association continues to foster stronger ties among members while contributing positively to the local community.

We sincerely thank all board members for their continued support and participation in the Enping Association. We look forward to working together in the future to further strengthen our community and serve fellow members.

Senior Lunar New Year Celebration

On February 7, 2026, the “Senior Lunar New Year Celebration” brought together members of the Enping Fellowship Association of Toronto and local seniors to celebrate the festive season. The event was jointly organized by the Enping Fellowship Society of Toronto, Chuang Fu Pain Clinic, and Sunrise Community Services Centre, with sponsorship and support from ICY BLUE.

The venue was filled with a joyful holiday atmosphere. Members of the Board of Directors and volunteers worked together in organizing and serving the event, extending New Year greetings and care to the attending seniors. Meals and drinking water were prepared for all participants, and Board members and volunteers personally distributed supplies while engaging in warm conversations, learning about the seniors’ daily lives and well-being.

A live band performance was specially arranged, adding energy and warmth to the celebration. Familiar melodies filled the room, and many seniors softly sang along, creating a welcoming and harmonious atmosphere.

The Association remains committed to supporting the practical needs of seniors in the community and will continue to organize visits and care initiatives in the future. We extend our sincere thanks to all volunteers who participated in the preparation and service of this event, as well as to our co-organizers and supporting sponsors. Moving forward, we will continue to serve as a bridge within the community, promoting mutual support and connection.
