Successful Hosting of the Wuyi Overseas Fellowship Event in Toronto
On July 13, 2025, the “Wuyi Overseas Large-Scale Fellowship Event,” hosted by the Enping Fellowship Association of Toronto, was successfully held in Toronto. Centered around the theme “One Family Across the Seas · Gathering in Friendship,” the event brought together overseas fellow townspeople from the five Wuyi regions—Enping, Kaiping, Taishan, Xinhui, and Heshan. It was one of the largest and most influential fellowship gatherings among the Wuyi overseas community in recent years, with broad participation and significant impact.
Bringing Together the Strength of Wuyi to Foster Exchange within the Overseas Chinese Community
Guided by the objectives of strengthening hometown ties, enhancing communication, and fostering unity, the event attracted enthusiastic participation from Wuyi fellow townspeople across different cities and professional backgrounds. The atmosphere was both vibrant and well organized, reflecting the strong cohesion of the overseas Chinese community while also showcasing the enduring vitality and cultural heritage of Wuyi abroad.
Distinguished Guests Gather to Celebrate the Occasion
On the day of the event, leaders of various community organizations, representatives from the overseas Chinese community, professionals, and members of the arts and cultural sector were invited to attend. In addition, municipal-level dignitaries and representatives from the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto were present to offer their congratulations on the successful hosting of the event. They also spoke highly of the Association’s positive role in promoting community engagement and serving overseas Chinese members.
